S a-di (Sāmaṇera) are monastics who are practicing to practice the holy life of Bhikkhus (bhikkhu). If the novices have good qualities, are diligent and pure, they will become venerable Bhikkhus in the future. A pure novice can still achieve great results and become a respectable person worthy of worship. At the present time, there were many novices who were Saints of the Incorruptibility, such as Sa-di Sukha, Sa-di Sumana, Sa-di Dabbamallaputta... Although novices are not counted among the four groups, but should understand that novices belong to the Bhikkhu khưu assembly, the Bhikkhu-bhikkhus need to care and help them to practice. The Buddha also paid much attention to the holy life of novices. In many cases, the Blessed One praised a monk with respectable virtue; The precepts of novices are also strictly regulated by him, in the Vinaya also recorded. In order to help the novices to learn the precepts, and to support the teachers responsible for guiding and teaching the novices, we ventured to draft the book "Law of the novice Sāmaṇeravinaya". When compiling this rule book, we relied on the book Sāmaṇeravinaya - translated by Mr. Uttamamuni, Phnom Penh published in 1939. We also have excerpts from the "Law on Renunciation" of Venerable Master Ho Tong. The way the chapters are presented in this book is arranged by us. Again, there are sections that are not included in the other Laws, but we found them useful, so we added them. This venture may be at fault for the Forebears, for having done what they did again, daring to add or subtract what already exists. We ourselves also feel embarrassed, but for the purpose of serving the ideal of preaching the Dharma and supporting the practice of novices, we have to do so. I hope that the good intellectuals will happily release their mistakes and teach more.
